Our main interests are:

i) The sample processing approaches for direct analysis of clinical samples.

​

ii) The application of novel chemometric and machine learning algorithms and the development of methods for fusing data from different modalities, including IR and Mass Spectrometry and the multimodal imaging of IR and Raman.

iii) The development of methods for biofluid analysis and quantification of clinical parameters for biofluids at the hospital and point-of-care levels in the context of cancer, malaria, and kidney disease among others.
