Bio
After completing my bachelor's studies in chemistry (2008-2013) and obtaining a master's degree in experimental chemistry techniques at the University of Valencia (2014), I joined the Perinatology Research Group at the La Fe Health Research Institute (Valencia) as a research technician. For 3.5 years, I worked on the development of analytical methods in the field of neonatal research, specializing in the processing of biological samples, chemometric analysis, and various instrumental techniques (liquid and gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry, vibrational spectroscopy, enzymatic techniques, and immunoassays). All of this was conducted in a hospital setting, gaining experience in the implementation of analytical methods in clinical practice and translational research.
After receiving a competitive predoctoral PFIS grant from the Carlos III Health Institute in 2017, I pursued my Ph.D. in chemistry within the same research group (2017-2022), including an international research stay in the aptamer group at the LIMES Institute (Bonn, Germany), where I worked on the SELEX technology for aptamer selection in analytical applications.
Currently (2022-2024), I am enjoying a competitive Margarita Salas postdoctoral fellowship (Ministry of Universities) and conducting a research stay in the Bioactive Lipid Synthesis group at the Max Mousseron Institute of Biomolecules (CNRS-University of Montpellier, France). Additionally, I am now part of the Spectrometrics group, where I work with vibrational spectroscopy and machine learning applications for clinical analysis.
